About Be your best self

All about Tom

I have held my personal training qualification since 2012. I have always had a strong passion for health and fitness. Alongside the training, I have also had a big involvement in sports coaching. Throughout my career I have had a passion for helping people. Both in and out of the sport and fitness world I have find great reward in helping others be the best that they can be through looking for solutions and overcoming barriers. 


I am now branching out into the world of online coaching to be able to help people far and wide. I have worked with hundreds of people throughout my career. Those from different backgrounds, experiences and goals. I believe everyone can benefit from being stronger. An approach of consistency, progression and appropriate intensity can take people so far in their journey regardless of the equipment they have access to.

All about Abi

I started my fitness journey wanting to become stronger and have shoulders like Michelle Obama! From there I found a real passion and love of the human body, nutrition and performance. For me, it was the correlation between diet, rest and performance, and the manipulation of any one of them that would enhance the other that would be most interesting. 


I am one of the head coaches at BYBS and work alongside Tom to provide top quality training to all our clients. I have 5 years experience in the gym and am well versed in a variety of training styles ranging from bodybuilding (where I came second in a natural competition), weightlifting,  powerlifting and  functional fitness. I also cater to clients who want to build a base level of fitness and get started in the gym. 


My motto for the health and fitness is "do or do not, there is no try" meaning if you set yourself a goal, we will achieve it, not just 'try' to achieve it. It's all about your mindset and setting yourself up for success.
